DIVINE DARKNESS

"Deep into that Darkness is where we will find the understanding

necessary to evolve without limits."

The supreme divine essence of the Cosmos is what most of us call “God”. The incomprehensible, and most exalted, where the pure, absolute, and immutable mysteries of spirituality are veiled in the dazzling obscurity of the secret Silence, outshining all brilliance with the intensity of their Darkness. Above all, it is where knowledge and truth transcend and manifest and where there is no distinction yet between Light and Darkness.

As a society, we have preconceptions and associations about truthfulness and lightness ~ that light is heavenly and dark is nefarious. For centuries humanity has been derailed about the true meaning of Darkness, and of course, if we look back, this misconception started with the spread of religions. Every time darkness is mentioned, there is a negative connotation leading to fear and association with evil. So the mind is trapped in this game where everything dark must be evil and scary, mysterious and dangerous, a place where we are afraid of getting lost and finding our true self...and the "True Self" can be terrifying if we are not ready for it.

There is a truth to the darkness that light cannot mask. In the dark, we feel vulnerable, because we are not able to be turned into an alternative version of ourselves while enveloped in darkness.

We are forced to sit with ourselves as we are, without the ostentation,  or the magnification of the Light. It is where we find who we truly are, and sometimes it can be frightening. If we are true to ourselves, darkness is the place to find answers and learn how amazing we are.

When we think in terms of creation, we usually visualize the Cosmos and how the Universe formed, but we can actually look at it closely as in the miracle and perfection of motherhood. Conditions before creation describe the uterine environment of a Mother's womb; silent darkness, liquid churning movement, eternal flux, the matrix of all things. It is where we begin to be...

Darkness in fact is associated with the feminine aspect of creation and is considered the female principle of Divine Existence.

Sometimes the truth is revealed by darkness because the dark sparks the truest art, the real Self. Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness and we only exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash. Called manifestation.

In the beginning, chaos was a primeval state of existence. Chaos was the primal dark, silent, formless, and infinite oddity with no trace of life.

Out of Chaos,  we came into existence.
